Our people are well networked into the local, regional, and African private and public sector communities and groupings. Our people adopt global best practice but always act in support of local communities.

The empowerment and skills development of marginalised communities remains the cornerstone of our people’s approach to business. Many of Sekunjalo’s employees started on the factory floor and today are leading executives of the Group in our subsidiaries.

Some have gone from being secretaries to becoming executive directors of the Group. As a result of this, many of our employees have created substantial wealth for themselves over the last few years. Sekunjalo remains one of the top ranked companies in terms of empowering its people and creating wealth for emerging entrepreneurs and individuals on the African continent.
